Unity

What’s with this world anyway?
What’s the point in keeping peace at bay?
Wars and bloodshed everywhere,
There’s no fare for sending a soul to heaven is there?
Terrorists wreaking havoc everywhere,
Leaving the earth’s surface bare.
Bombardments, massacres what’s the use?
For terrorism surely there has to be a fuse.
One country attacking another,
One human being killing his fellow brother.
Let’s stop this mass-killing,
Let’s stuff our hearts with a certain willing,
The willing to end all enmity,
And make the world a living entity.
Let’s appreciate each other,
Without saying “Oh! Bother”.
Let’s stand on out feet and try to make an impact,
While trying to keep the earth and its inhabitants intact.
Let’s start by not fighting amongst each other,
Neither should we act like we don’t bother.
Thinking can happen on a seat,
But doing can only happen on our feet.
So let’s start doing and not only thinking,
Starting by saving our worst enemy who’s sinking.
Let’s have a new world,
Let’s be bold and not cold,
Let’s dominate the world, not by wars,
But through a different cause,
For now let us pause.
Let’s think, what are the reasons for the wars?
Let’s lift our racial and cultural bars,
Let’s be united in our cause,
Let’s cooperate through a clause.
A clause, where all people, dark and fair, young and old,
Decide to be united to extents untold!
Let’s fight not for violence but for peace,
So that all can come back home in one piece.
So let’s start today and not wait for tomorrow!
Let’s be the cause for the end of all sorrow!
Our neighbors’ pain let us borrow,
Let’s make a pit and make it burrow!
Let’s put an end to all our problems!
Not through idiotic poems.
But through trust and cooperation,
Let’s be one nation,
After all, you and I are God’s creation…
So let’s promise we’ll work for a better tomorrow,
And take away the pain of not one or two but millions to follow
